Beejay Elles

Beejay Elles is a multidisciplinary visual artist and musician based in southern Indiana. He is a seasoned Graphic Designer and Photographer who has spent the past twelve years working as an in-house designer. In his spare time, he experiments with many styles of painting, drawing inspiration from abstract expressionism, impressionism, and the world around him. Through his artwork, Beejay ventures into the creation of alternate universes, characterized by powerful compositions, striking colors, and rich textures. His passion lies in the process of crafting something entirely novel, a journey of discovery and invention that fuels his creative spirit.

Since 2003, Beejay’s artwork has been exhibited both locally and regionally, including his participation in the international traveling exhibition Let’s Talk About Love, Baby, which showcased his work as far abroad as Spain. In 2011, his sketchbook was included in The Sketchbook Project with the Brooklyn Art Library, which toured across the United States.

As a musician, Beejay is primarily a guitarist and composer. He released a collection of classical-inspired compositions in 2006 and continues to write and play guitar. From 1999 to 2002, he co-wrote and recorded two studio albums with the band VTC, and from 2001 to 2003, he was a guitarist with the band DeSalvo, recording an additional studio album during that time.
